Elements of Style

I love the Elements of Style stamp set and I'm very glad it is carrying forward in the new catalogue.   It is such a versatile set and very elegant looking.   Once again I found an old sample of a card I created using this set and decided to make a few more.    This card also uses one of my favourite colour combinations:

This is a clean and simple card that works for any occasion.   Soft suede is used for the base and the floral image is stamped on using whisper white craft ink.   The corners are accented with a paper piecer and mat with the guide.    Happy Anniversary comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes and is stamped on very vanilla with soft suede and then punched out with the scallop oval punch.   The scallops are also paper pierced.   Easy peasy!

This card also uses Elements of Style:

Once again, my favourite colour combo - soft suede and very vanilla.   The very vanilla layers are stamped using soft suede ink.   For the Newlyweds also comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes and is set off with soft suede punched with the Decorative Label punch.   The Word Window punch was used to punch out For the Newlyweds.    A soft suede taffeta fork bow and some basic pearls finish off this card.

That's all for now.    This weekend I will be posting some cards that use punch art.   Creating with punch art helped me in a pinch as Stampin' Up! did not have a stamp set or digital download that suited the occasion.    Check in again soon!   Thanks for stopping by.
