Sympathy card and gearing up for Halloween

So it's October 1st today.   Definitely starting to look and feel like fall out there.    The fall colours are so beautiful.    I had a Mommy & Me Halloween class yesterday and we all had a great time.     I can't show you any of the projects today as I will be having a second class in a couple of weeks using the same projects.    In addition to decorating for occasion, I also made sugared shortbread cookies stamped with our jack-o-lantern stamp.    Everybody loves those cookies!   I made some decorations using a new stamp set in the holiday catalogue:

Of course the decorations had to have some bling!

SUPPLIES:

Paper - champagne glimmer paper, silver glimmer paper, basic black, whisper white
Ink:  basic black
Stamps:  Googly Ghouls
Accessories:   big shot, window frames framelits, spider web embossing folder, googlies, silver sparkle dazzling details, square punch

Finally, here is a sympathy card that I CASEd from Wanda.   Check out her blog for some awesome projects.

I used the rectangular frame from the designer frames embossing folder, cut it out and popped it up with dimensionals.

SUPPLIES:

Paper:   pool party, whisper white
Ink:   island indigo, old olive
Stamps:   Love & Sympathy
Accessories:   big shot, designer frames embossing folder, large oval punch, basic pearl, pool party ruffled ribbon

The October Stylin'  Stampin' Squad blog hop will be coming up this week.   Make sure to check back on Thursday to see what the Squad has prepared for your viewing pleasure.
