It's that time again ... time for another blog hop. We postponed our hop by a week since everyone was busy with Halloween last week. Funny how I'm still finishing up at the last minute!! Bah - I excel at procrastination. :) You may have just come here from Dawn's blog. Please make sure to leave comments for our blog hop contributors so they can feel the love!
Our theme this month is Thanksgiving/thankful. We celebrate Thanksgiving in October in Canada so I have already been focused on Christmas for a while. It was kind of nice to come up with a card that focused on being grateful again:
I had used the Full of Blessings set a number of times last month but this time I had a new stamp set to use with it - the Pursuit of Happiness set. This saying was perfect and the inside of the card has a simple thank you.
SUPPLIES:
Paper: chocolate chip, crumb cake, very vanilla, cherry cobbler, watercolour paper,
champagne glimmer paper
Ink: black stazon, early espresso
Stamps: Full of Blessings, Pursuit of Happiness
Accessories: big shot, woodgrain embossing folder, scallop circle punch, circle die,
dotted scallop ribbon border punch, brushed bronze designer buttons, linen thread
dotted scallop ribbon border punch, brushed bronze designer buttons, linen thread
My 3D project meets our challenge this month: create a "hostess thank-you gift". The hostess thank-you gift did not have to be Thanksgiving related so naturally I focused on Christmas:
SUPPLIES:
Paper: real red, whisper white, red glimmer paper
Ink: real red, garden green, black stazon, pretty in pink, rose red
Stamps: Christmas Blessings
Accessories: big shot, labels collection framelits, ovals die (retired), Punches: corner rounder, ovals, square, circles, decorative label, blender pens, basic rhinestone, cherry cobbler dazzling details
